Cinematic Dark Souls 3

I put together a ReShade preset to give the game a more cinematic feel and look.

It's just .ini. document. You will need ReShade 4.1.1 or later. To install, simply drop the .ini file into the data folder where the DS3 exe resides. To toggle the Reshade menu press Shift +

Home (Numpad 7) to toggle preset on/off, press Numpad 2. I hope you all like this preset :)

ReShade installation instructions, this works for using all ReShade presets: 1. ) to download the latest version of ReShade, once complete, click on its icon

2.) It will ask for the game to install and click on the DS3 exe (launch icon for the game) inside the data folder or whatever game you installed preset

3.) It will ask what API the game uses and DirectX 10/11 for all games, it should be automatically selected and click on it

4.) It will ask which effects you want to download, I recommend them all, then click download

5.) Then click OK and it installs them and that's it, you don't do anything else and close the ReShade application.

Before starting the game, go into the game data folder and there will be a dxgi file, you need to rename it to d3d11 and make sure my .ini file is also in your data folder. Now start the game and it will take some time to load and you should see the ReShade message in the upper left corner of the screen. Once in the game's main menu, press Shift + Home (Numpad 7) to bring up the ReShade overlay, then click the + icon next to the game info,

Where it says D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dark Souls III\Game\Default

and enter my file name, it has to be like this Cinematic_DS3.ini or whatever preset you use and hit enter it should work. Then click "Done" at the bottom of the menu and Shift+Home to close the "ReShade" overlay.

Once in the game's main menu, press Shift + Home (Numpad 7) to bring up the ReShade overlay, then click the + icon next to the game info,
