Restored Dialogues

A mod that brings back the dialogue lines that were removed with patch 1.6.0.0 in May 2023 due to complaints that "the protagonist and assistant were talking too much".

Not all phrases are plot-related - half of the phrases last no more than 5 seconds. But there are also phrases that have a big plot subtext, which is revealed in the game one way or another, and it was strange for the developers to cut something like that.

The number of lines deleted is 199 files.

There was only one dialogue that could not be restored - the main character's phrase right before he receives the key from the Twin:

"Besides the chatter of all sorts of electronic gloves."

Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how exactly this phrase works, so this phrase won't be in the mod.

The mod works on all voice acting and interface languages. I tried to check as much as possible, and in theory everything should work as if it was intended by the developers.

Installation instructions:
1. Download the file;
2. Unzip AtomicHeart_RestoredDialogues.zip
3. There should be a file called ` z_dialogues.pak` .
4. Place it in `game folder\Atomic Heart\AtomicHeart\Content\Paks\~mods`.
5.Create ` ~mods` if it doesn't already exist.
6. You should get "...\Atomic Heart\AtomicHeart\Content\Paks\~mods\z_dialogues.pak".

The following was restored:
1. Chelomey - 10 phrases.
2. Vavilov and the Lesnik Village - 61 phrases.
3. VDNKh - 48 phrases.
4. Open world - 30 phrases.
5. Theatre - 9 phrases.
6. Pavlov and APO - 40 phrases.
